JAMMU, Sept 14: According to Chief Engineer Electt Maintt & RE Wing Jammu, to execute routine maintenance works, the shutdown 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Bishnah is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to areas fed from Grid Station Bishnah will remain affected on September 15 from 7 am to 2 pm.
Similarly, to carry out work of branch cutting and preventive maintenance, the shutdown of 33KV G-2 line is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Gandhi Nagar, Bahu Plaza, part of Trikuta Nagar, Jammu University, Divisional Commissioner Office, Bikram Chowk and its adjoining areas will remain affected on September 15 from 6 am to 10 am.

Similarly, the power supply to Kanachak, Pargwal, NS Pura, Bharat Bhalwal, Bhawal Mulloo, ChanniTana, Rajpura, Mala Bella and adjoining areas will remain affected on September 15 from 7 am to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, for dragging, shifting of old unserviceable 20 MVA, 132/66 KV Power Transformer out of the 132/66 KV Transformer Yard and replacing it with spared 20 MVA, 132/66 KV Power Transformer from Kathua Grid to Hiranagar Grid, the shutdown of 320 MVA, 220/132/66 KV Grid Station Hiranagar is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, SEWA-II, Billawar, Mahanpur and adjoining areas including Industrial areas will remain affected on September 15 from 8 am to 2 pm.
However, to carry out dismantling of 132 KV Circuit Breaker under PSDF Scheme, the shutdown of 150 MVA, 132/66 KV Grid Station Kathua is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to all areas fed from 150 MVA 132/66 KV Grid Station Kathua will remain affected on September 15 from 8 am to 2 pm.
