JAMMU, Sept 16: A 13-year-old Nepali girl was found hanging this evening in Channi Himmat area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased has been identified as Isha Devi daughter of Kamal Gorkha, resident of Nepal. He said the girl was found hanging today at about 4 PM in a tin shed located at Dilli in Channi Himmat, where she was living along with her family.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPc was initiated in this connection at police station Channi Himmat.
