REASI, Sept 17: The Police today nabbed a narcotic smugglers from Katra area and recovered a small consignment from him.
The accused has been identified as Madan Lal, son of Maholi Ram, a resident of village Kadmal, Tehsil Katra in district Reasi. The police also recovered 07 gms of heroin (Chitta) from his possession.
A case FIR No. 211/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered against him at Police Station Katra and investigation started. He was already involved in a case FIR No. 174/19 u/s 8/20/21 NDPS Act registered at Katra Police Station.
The arrest and recovery has been made by SHO Katra, Insp Pardeep Gupta assisted by SI Suman Singh under the supervision of SDPO Katra Vivek Shekhar and ASP Katra, Naresh Singh.
