REASI, Sept 17: Katra police arrested a woman bootlegger along with 29 small bottles of illicit liquor, a police official said.
The arrested woman has been identified as Darshana Devi, wife of Pavitar Singh of village Sandhrani, District Udhampur, at present Matyal Katra. She was arrested from PCP Nomain when she was moving towards Katra town.
A case under FIR Number 212/19 under Section 188 RPC was registered at Police Station Katra and investigation started.
It is pertinent to mention here that the said lady was already involved in 2 cases registered under FIR Numbers 184/17 under Section 188 RPC and FIR Number 166/19 under section 48-A Excise Act with Police Station Katra.
Police team led by SHO Katra Inspector Pardeep Gupta and assisted by SI Joginder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Katra Vivek Shekhar, Additional SP Katra Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir.
