10 injured in accidents

SRINAGAR, Mar 10: Ten persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley today.
Reports said that a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK05A/4726 collided with an electric pole near Jawbara, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to two persons namely Tanveer Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Rashid and Irshad Ahmad Malla, son of Abdul Rashid residents of Baramulla. Both the injured have been shifted to SKIMS-Soura, for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/1297 turned turtle near Qazipora-Bijhama, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to eight passengers namely Dilawar Ahmed, aged 14 years, son of Mohammad Zaman, resident of Binner, Baramulla, Bashir Ahmed Khan, age 60 years, son of Mohammad Yaqoob resident of Lachipora, Doulat Zaman, age 35 years, son of Mir Zaman resident of Lachipora, Sajid Amin, age 22 years, son of Mohammad Amin resident of Lachipora, Mohammad Iqbal, age 44 years, son of Atta Mohammad Abbasi, Rabia Khanam, age 20 years, daughter of Mohammad Hanief resident of Bimyar Boniyar, Ifat age 18 years, daughter of Mohammad Youns resident of Chahlanand, Wahid Ahmad, age 17 years, son of Amir-ud-din resident of Bijhama. All the injured have been shifted to Public Health Center Boniyar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
