JAMMU, Sept 20: In order to lead by example in abiding by law, District Police Jammu has started an initiative whereby all personnel are being sent SMS reminders to follow traffic rules and regulations.
Further, as charity begins at home, SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh got his own official vehicle challaned today, when it took the wrong lane of the road.
“The public is urged to adopt safe driving practices and to conform to applicable rules and regulations,” a district police spokesman said.
