JAMMU, Sept 21: Arvind Gupta, a J&K BJP leader along with team of CoRover (a Bangalore based technology startup) today met Railway Minister Piyush Goyal in Delhi and urged him to introduce AskDisha like technology in all over the country including J&K state.
CoRover is providing Digital Assistants and advanced ChatBot solutions powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. It has already integrated its Digital Assistant “AskDisha” with IRCTC. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal had launched AskDisha in October 2018 and since then monthly 40,00,000 train passengers ask questions in AskDisha to seek help regarding cancellation of ticket, refunds, etc. AskDisha provides an instant reply without human. Till date more than 50 Million train passengers have benefitted from AskDisha.
The company is now extending AskDisha to create a new “Digital Passenger Information Assistant” using which passengers will be able to access complete train status, live tracking, ticket booking, ticket cancellation and refund status. Every train passenger information will now be available from single window through AskDisha ChatBot.
In the meeting with Railway Minister, CoRover CEO Ankush Sabaharwal, Chief Operating Officer Manav Gandotra and Chief Technology Officer Prabhu Stavarmath proposed advanced AskDisha integration into all of Indian Railway services making AskDisha one stop window for all passenger information system.
J&K BJP leader Arvind Gupta also appealed the Railway Minister to bring AskDisha like technology enabled consumer friendly solutions for the benefit of J&K people so that they can get travel and tourism related information through mobile based ChatBot. He further urged the Minister to expand the scope of AskDisha into other Government services and help people take benefit of the services provided by CoRover.
