JAMMU, Sept 21: The dead body of an unidentified man of age about 60 years was recovered today from Purkhoo area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the dead body of an old man appears to be a beggar was spotted this evening by some passersby along a road at Purkhoo. He said that the dead body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/post mortem.
“In this connection, inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPc has been initiated at police station Kanachak,” the official added.
