JYBT to hold joint ‘Sharadh’ of martyrs

JAMMU, Sept 21: Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT) will be paying tributes to martyrs of Army and all other security forces during Amavasaya on September 28 at a special function to be held on the banks of river Ganga.
JYBT chairman Pt Pawan Shastri said the Trust will be holding special prayers and performing collective `Sharadh’ of martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the nation, on Amavasaya falling on September 28 at Haridwar without any charges from anyone.
All rituals of `Sharadh’ of martyrs will be performed during the occasion, Shastri said, adding the Trust has extended an open invitation to families of the martyrs to join the function.
However, the `Sharadh’ will be performed for all the martyrs even if some of the families were unable to attend the function.
