RAJOURI, Sept 23: In an anti-encroachment drive conducted under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer, Rajouri Sanjay Kumar Gupta, the Forest team removed encroachment on 10 kanals of Forest land also dismantled three illegal structures in Nagrota block of Rajouri Forest Division today.
Official reports said that the Forest team led by Block Forest Officer, Bansi Lal and supported by guards and FPF staff, oganised an operation in Compartment No. 152-K Sankri (Nagrota Block) of Kandi Range today and removed encroachment on 10 Kanal of Forest land.
Three illegal structures raised by the land grabbers namely – Mohd Riaz, son of Mohd Sharief of Sankri; Naqbool Hussain and Showkat Ali, sons of Mohd Din and Mohd Azam, son of Noor Hussain were also dismantled. The land under their possession was also cleared and fencing work started.
