KISHTWAR, Sept 25: Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, convened a meeting to review functioning of Revenue Department in the district.
ADDC, Mohd. Hanief Malik, ADC, Pawan Parihar, ACR Dr. Amir Hussain, SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Parihar, SDM Paddar Varun Jeet Charak, SDM Marwah Dr. Javeed Iqbal Rather besides Tehsildars and representatives from Ramtech Private Limited were present in the meeting.
The meeting had discussion on various issues like progress on writing of Jamabandis, attestation of mutations, progress on eviction of encroachments from State, Kahcharai, Common, and forest land, maintenance of record and page marking of Revenue Records for digitization and scanning.
DC fixed a deadline for all concerned officers regarding writing of Jamabandis besides ACR Kishtwar was directed to evolve an effective mechanism for speeding up the remaining work of Jamabandis with active involvement of Tehsildar’s, Naib Tehsildar’s, Girdawar’s and Patwaries.
He directed the concerned for attesting the inheritance and other mutations within the stipulated time frame besides settling the mutations pertaining to other departments where final award stands issued by the concerned Collector, Land acquisition.
While reviewing the progress on removal of encroachments on state lands, DC exhorted upon the concerned officers to keep strict vigil to prevent encroachment on highways and other roads in and around the town.
DC directed the Revenue officers to ensure prompt redressal of public grievances and completion of all pending works related to the department.
