ITI employees for action against tainted officials

SRINAGAR, Mar 11: A delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir ITI Employees Union met Minister for Technical Education, Viqar Rasool and Bipal Pathik, Principal Secretary, Technical Education Department in Civil Secretariat Jammu to discuss problem faced by the employees.
During the meeting various issues were put before the Minister and appealed him to take action against tainted elements in the department  besides,  grant of SRO, finalization of recruitment rules which are pending in the Administrative department since 2009, lateral admission scheme for ITI passed out trainees in polytechnics, rejuvenation of training programme.
The Minister assured the delegation that he will not tolerate any tainted element booked in vigilance net in the department and fill up all the clear vacancies including joint Directors by the first week of April 2013 soon after recruitment rules are finalized.
