JAMMU, Sept 26: As many as 289 Jammu Zone IRP personnel were granted in situ promotion on completion of nine years of unblemished service in their present rank.
On the recommendation of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) constituted in terms of SRO 14 of 1996 dated 15.1.1996, Danesh Rana, Inspector General of Police Armed/India Reserve Police, issued the order to this effect, today.
These promotees include 9Head Constables, 277 Selection Grade Constables and 3 Constables.
