KATHUA, Sept 28: District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with Chief Education Officer organized a legal awareness camp on ‘problems related to water and solutions’ at Government High School Parliwand.
The camp was organized by Aarti Mohan, Secretary DLSA under the aegis of Pawan Dev Kotwal, Chairman DLSA Kathua.
The aim of the camp was to make the students aware about the problems of fresh water scarcity and strategy to improve efficiency of water supply system.
While speaking, Anil Kalotra, Neeraj Kumar and Sumit Jasrotia, retainer lawyers enlightened the students regarding the main cause of water crisis and sustainable solutions to the water supply crisis.
In the end, Shangra Singh, Headmaster GHS Parliwand presented vote of thanks.
Meanwhile, legal awareness programmes were also organized by Tehsil Legal Services Committees Billawar and Basohli at GHSS Nagrota Gujroo and Panchayat Ghar Jadgrota respectively.
