JAMMU, Sept 29: Aggarwal Sabha J&K today celebrated Maharaja Agarsen Jayanti with fervour and gaiety.
The main function in this regard was held at Agarsen Bhawan, Vivekanand Chowk wherein Hawan and other rituals were performed.
The other part of the function was held at Abhinav Theatre where the flag was hoisted and the programme commenced by lighting of ceremonial lamp by Swantar Aggarwal, Sabha president and other office bearers of the Sabha like Hardeep Aggarwal, Vice President; Surinder Bansal, Vice President; Ravinder Mittal, General Secretary; Hem Chand Aggarwal, Secretary and Narinder Aggarwal, Treasurer.
Apart from these members of Aggarwal Sabha like Dewan Chand Bansal, Mahavir Parsad Aggarwal, Parveen Mittal, Vishwa Mohan Goyal, Vijay Aggarwal, Naresh Aggarwal, Ram Niwas Aggarwal, Surinder Mohan Aggarwal, Anoop Mittal, Harish Aggarwal, Rajesh Aggarwal, Shamboo Aggarwal and Vipin Mittal were also present.
Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion while K.B Jandial was the guest of honour.
Colourful programmes were presented by the children. A large number of Biradari members were also present on the occasion.
