JAMMU, Sept 29: The dead body of an unknown man was recovered this evening from Chatha area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, reliable sources this evening informed police post Chatha that the partially decomposed dead body of an unknown man of age about 35-40 years is lying in a vacant plot at Govindpura in Chatha area.
He said a police team was deputed to the spot which took the body into custody and shifted it to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection by police post Chatha.
