JAMMU, Sept 30: State High Court has ordered transfers and postings of six District and Sessions Judges.
According to the order issued by Sanjay Dhar, Registrar General of J&K High Court, Vinod Chatterji Koul, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal vice Jaffer Hussain Beg.
Mohammad Akram Chowdhary, Member Secretary, J&K State Legal Services Authority has been repatriated and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Samba vice M K Sharma. R K Wattal, Registrar Vigilance, High Court has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu vice Vinod Chatterji Koul.
The services of Shahzad Azeem and M K Sharma have been placed at the disposal of the Chief Justice for their posting in the High Court Registry/ State Legal Services Authority.
Jaffer Hussain Beg, Chairman, J&K Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal, has been repatriated and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rajouri vice Shahzad Azeem.
As per another order, services of Sarfraz Hussain Shah, who was appointed as District Judge vide Government Order No. 1962- LD(A) of 2017 dated 01-06-2017 are regularized against the substantive post held by him with effect from the date of his ad hoc appointment.
