Kishtwar, Sept 30: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Angrez Singh Rana today inspected progress of ongoing blacktopping work on Shalimar to Trigam road being executed under PMGSY.
The DDC also inspected the works being executed by RDD like community toilets, watersheds, village ponds etc under MGNREGA in block Trigam.
It was informed that the 11.5 km Shalimar to Trigam road is being executed under PMGSY Phase -II and blacktopping of 5 km is complete and remaining work is on.
The DDC directed executing authorities to apply enhanced engineering expertise to increase durability of roads. He asked for construction of drain alongside the road.
On the way, the DDC also interacted with locals of Sheikhpora, Trigam block and listened to their grievances.
