Plea to Governor

Sir,
It is very amazing that we, the Electronics and Communication Engineers of the state who previously missed the opportunity to apply for the A.E. (Electric) posts due to the confusion created by JKPSC in its advertisement notification by debarring Electronic and Communication Engineers to apply for Assistant Engineer (Electric) posts, and then allow them to apply for these posts only when the High Court intervene. Due to which large number of Electronic and Communication Engineers which are working in private sector outside the state were unable to apply for these posts earlier. We were demanding for the past two months from the JKPSC to extend the last for the said posts as a good will gesture from your side to these Engineers but no one listen to our grievances.
It is very important to mention that JKPSC on 30th September issued a notification for extending the last date for Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in various GMC’s across the state for the second time, i.e, upto 25th October. Also, on 30th September JKPSC issued a notification for conducting the A.E. (Electric) on 1st December instead of 13th October. JKPSC shows goodwill gesture to all except us, the Engineers who missed the opportunity to apply for the A.E. (Electric) posts. In the state like ours, the Job opportunity for the Electronics and Communication are very rare and most of these Engineers are old candidate standing at the verge of crossing the over- age mark.
So, it is therefore requested to you to show some heart to these Engineers and give us final opportunity to apply for A.E. (Electric) posts without change in the exam date further. As you know that abrogation of Article 370 and 35A have negative impact on Job opportunities in the state for some time and this delay in creating Job opportunities make us over-age also. So, we see these Jobs as the final opportunity for all of us.
