UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: Safai Karamcharis of Udhampur today protested in front of the office of Municipal Committee Udhampur for highlighting their long pending demands.
The protest demonstration was held under the leadership of Kaka Hussain, who alleged that the MC Udhampur and district administration were adopting a negative attitude towards their long pending demands, for which they had already served notices to the authorities.
The protest Safai Karamcharis served an ultimatum of four days to consider their demands and threatened to go on indefinite strike from October 9 if no positive action is taken by the authorities.
