JAMMU, Oct 6: The SR College of Competitions (SRCC) conducted General Studies’ (GS) workshop comprehensively touching different aspects of the Civil Services Examination for the students preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (JKPSC) Examination.
Visiting faculty from Delhi, Gautam Pandey was resource person in this specially organized guidance session wherein students were told about the syllabus, source of study, strategy to take on different topics and subjects as also what to do and what not to do.
“From pattern analysis of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and J&K Public Service Commission (JKPSC) examinations, the students preparing for the IAS and State Services examinations were told about the General Studies’ syllabus and source of study material. Detailed discussions took place with regard to strategy to take on the examination,” said Gautam Pandey.
A good number of students turned up to attend the specially designed workshop for the GS. “Such workshops certainly help students, preparing for the UPSC, to take on the most competitive examination in a systematic manner,” said Centre Head, Praful Sharma.
