JAMMU, Oct 9: Some thieves struck a house in Channi Himmat area and decamped with 30 gram of gold jewellery.
“The theft occurred yesterday between 2 PM and 8 PM at house No 377, Sector-1, Channi Himmat, Jammu,” a police official said. He said as per the complaint received by the owner of the house, Naveen Gupta son of late Banarsi Lal Gupta, he along with entire family left his house at 2 PM for some work and when they returned back at 8 PM, the lock of the house was found broken and their golden jewellery weighing about 30 gram was missing from the house.
The official said that a case FIR No 157 under Section 454, 380 RPC was registered in this connection at police station Channi Himmat and further investigation started. So far no arrest could be made in the case, he added.
