Bar condemns fidayeen attack on CRPF camp

JAMMU, Mar 13: Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) today condemned the fidayeen attack at CRPF camp at Bemina, Srinagar killing five CRPF personnel and injuring several others.
A meeting of BAJ was held under the chairmanship of its president, MK Bhardwaj, who while speaking cautioned that the unfortunate and inhuman act of terrorists is an eye opener for those, who are confidently demanding the withdrawl of AFSPA from the State.
He asserted that such cowardly acts should not be taken lightly and demanded stern action against the perpetrators of law.
Bhardwaj appealed the elected representatives to concentrate on the development issues rather than creating ruckus in the Assembly.
A condolence was held to mourn the killing of CRPF personnel and tributes were paid to the departed souls.
Among others present were Sindhu Sharma, vice president, Ranjit Singh Jamwal, general secretary, Prem Sadotra, joint secretary, Gurveer Singh, treasurer, besides other members of the association.
