POONCH, Oct 13: The police claimed to have arrested a youth for the alleged kidnapping of a girl from Kalai area of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that parents of the girl, approached Police Station Poonch and lodged report about the kidnapping of their daughter by one Mohd Azam from Upper Kalai. The police party swung into action and nabbed the accused within hours of the incident. The girl was also rescued and handed over to the parents after performing legal formalities. Further investigation was in progress.
