SAMBA, Mar 13: Youth Congress has demanded Amarnath Yatra registration facility at Samba and permission for the pilgrims to visit Mansar.
Talking to media persons, here today, Youth Congress vice president Sandeep Sharma said that almost in all the districts, the Amarnath registration facility was available but not in Samba. He demanded registration counter in Samba for the benefit of general public.
He rued that during Amarnath Yatra, tourists were not allowed to go to the famous Mansar lake thus badly affecting business in the area. He demanded that naka should be placed at Mansar instead of Mansar Morh. He added that if these demands were not fulfilled soon, the Youth Congress will go for strong agitation.
On the occasion, Rakesh Dogra, Sachin Sharma, Anadhi Mahajan, Naresh Kumar, Randhish Anand, Deepak Kumar, Arun Bandral, Deepak Badyal and Nistish Kumar were also present.
