POONCH, Mar 13: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) organized a free medical camp for the local populace of village Loran, Tehsil Mandi.
The team of Civil Medical Officer, Regimental Medical Officer, Nursing Assistants and Supporting Staff examined the patients.
During the camp, hundreds of patients including male, female and children were examined and the much-needed specialised medical cover was given to them.
The medical team also made the local populace aware of the importance of water hygiene in their day-to-day life and laid special emphasis on diseases like viral hepatitis.
Khadim Hussain, Sarpanch of village Loran said that this gesture by the Army would strengthen the bond between the people and the Army.
