Accounts employees discuss demands

JAMMU, Mar 13: A meeting of executive body of J&K Accounts Employees Coordination Committee was held under the chairmanship of Kulwant Singh for discussing the long pending demands.
The meet demanded stoppage of pick and choose in transfer and posting, overstay and  attachment in the office of Joint Director Accounts and Treasuries Jammu.
Other demands highlighted in the meet, included DPC of Accounts personnel, Class-IV, Computer operators, creation of the wing of Departmental Examination in NZATI Jammu/Srinagar, removal of increment bar and anomaly of AAO, creation of welfare fund at State level, strengthening infrastructure of treasuries at par with banks, introduction of Accounts of cell system working in every department like Revenue, PDD, PWD, Irrigation, PHE, Forest, Health, Health etc.
The meet also discussed the agenda of the Committee elections in Jammu province, which are due for the last 12 years.
Those who attended the meeting, included S K S Khalsa, Prem Nath, Shyam Sharma, Rampal, Vijay Gupta, Anil Sharma, Raghubir Singh, Rohit Gupta, Kishore Lal, Pardeep Kumar, Om Rey, Ashok Kumar, Balban Singh, Basant Raj, Deep Kumar, Kasturi Lal, Kamal Kumar, Joginder Kour, Rajpal, J S Manhas, Ropinder Singh, Anil Bhat, Madan Lal and others.
