JAMMU, Oct 16: Director Railway Energy Management Company Ltd (REMCL) of Railway Board, senior BJP leader and councilor from Anantnag Municipal Council, Sheela Handoo today assured the Kashmiri migrants that she will raise their issues with the concerned authorities both in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir as well as with the Union Government.
Addressing a function organized by BJP Kashmiri Displaced District and senior activists from Durga Nagar, Muthi, Suriya Vihar, Dogra Nagar, Janipur, Purkhoo and other localities at Durga Nagar today she urged the community to remain united and work for strengthening of the party by taking the policy programmes of Narendra Modi Government to every corner.
She said that we all should work for restoration of peace and brotherhood in the Kashmir Valley so that State will tread on development path. She highlighted various schemes of Narendra Modi Government for poor people, women, girl children and unemployment generation, preservation of environment, etc and appealed the migrants to take their advantage. She said it is only BJP and Narendra Modi who can steer Jammu and Kashmir out of present crisis.
She said it is the BJP only which can provide justice to all people irrespective of their caste, creed, religion and region and take country forward and restore its pristine glory. Handoo also urged the displaced Pandits not to give any credence to people launching malicious propaganda against the Government and BJP.
The function among others was addressed by president KDD, Chand Ji Bhat, Roshan Lal Raina a social activist. It was organized by Makhan Lal Bhat Mandal president.
