Family Welfare employees frame body, highlight demands

JAMMU, Oct 18: Employees of Family Welfare MCH & Immunization Department (Jammu Division) today framed their body under the name and style “Jammu Kashmir Family Welfare MCH & Immunization Employees Association”.
The body was framed in a meeting of all the categories of the employees of Family Welfare MCH & Immunization Department held today in the office of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) Jammu under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president, JKMEF.
The newly framed body comprised of Rakesh Sharma (president), Rahul Gupta (vice president), Neelam Kumari (general secretary), Naveen Sharma (treasurer), Ashfaq Malik (spokesperson), Sanjeev Kumar (spokesperson), Aditya Sharma (legal advisor), Anil Kesar (advisor) and Parshotam Kumar, Rajesh Kohli, Deepak Jamwal, Ansuiya Bhan, Farida Bano, Kamla Devi, Murtza and Imran Khan as executive member.
During the meeting, employees of Family Welfare MCH & Immunization highlighted their demands and the body resolved to take all the appropriate steps to fulfill the same in the welfare of the employees. The main demands highlighted were regular salary of Family Welfare MCH & Immunization employees, regular DPC of all cadres of employees, promotion to senior/higher vacant posts of eligible employees, publication of seniority list of all cadres viz. State/Division/District cadres and assured career progression for FMPHWs viz. creation of senior ranks & grades.
They also discussed other demands including training of permanent employees on regular basis inside and outside the State for capacity enhancement, creation of the posts of LHV, Extension Educator, Junior Health Inspector in newly created medical blocks and review of proposed changes in recruitment rules & grades of Family Welfare MCH & Immunization employees.
