CHENNAI, Mar 14: Sundaram Infotech, the IT subsidiary of non-banking finance company Sundaram Finance, today said it has bagged several deals across the US and UK markets.
The Chennai-based firm, in November 2012, had secured similar projects from Australia and Japan based companies.
The company said in a statement that it has signed an outsourcing contract with a UK based garment retailer to provide support and product enhancements for their Indian operations. However, it did not disclose the name of its client in the UK.
In the agricultural space, the company has bagged a deal from a seed company (also from UK), considered as one of the largest developer and suppliers of plant geneticism.
As part of this deal, Sundaram Infotech will implement its Seed Field Management (SFM) solution to support the business and operations of the seed company in India.
On its expansion in the US market, Sundaram Infotech said it had bagged a multi-year deal from a company specialised in providing industry leading optimisation for airlines industry.
“Sundaram Infotech will provide services that include technical architecture and offshore technology solution support using Microsoft technologies”, it said.
On the domestic front, Sundaram Intotech has bagged two deals from a BPO and a construction firm. To the Chennai headquartered BPO company, Sundaram Infotech will design, develop and implement a custom CRM application using Microsoft Technologies, it said.
The company also bagged a deal from a New Delhi-based construction and finance company to implement key modules of its SmartLend S3G product, the statement said. (PTI)
