JAMMU, Oct 20: National Institute of Skills Training (NIST) Bari Brahmana today organized ‘Fashion Fusion’ at Abhinav Theatre in Jammu.
The event was graced by Sushma Chauhan (District Magistrate) as chief guest while Sonika Parihar (Assistant Director, Handloom), Puran Chand (Chairman, Municpal Committee, Bari Brahmana) and Sunil Kesar (SDPO Bari Brahmana) were guests of honour.
The students of the Institute presented their designer dresses and showed their makeup skills. The event had four fashion rounds. First round was Glamorous round during which all models were professionals, second round was Suit round, third round was Formal and fourth one was Bridal.
In Bridal round, NIST designer chooses elegant light colours instead of dark colours. Some dance performances was also given by NIST students on the occasion.
The show was judged by Gautam Bali (celebrity Makeup artist) and Rakhi Kapoor (celebrity Fashion designer).
Speaking on the occasion, Centre Director Shabir Malik said that every year they organized this event with a motive to endorse fashion and beauty sectors in Jammu province. He emphasized that these types of events gave students a platform so they can display their design and makeup skills to everyone.
Centre Head Nusrat Malik was also present there. The whole event was design and choreographed by Irfan Choudhary of Nine Planets Entertainment.
