JAMMU, Oct 25: Alleging that rampart transfers and DPC are taking place in these days just to make money before the Jammu and Kashmir starts working as Union Territory, Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has demanded ban on all type of transfers.
“As Jammu and Kashmir is going to becoming Union Territory with effect from November 1 and all the affairs of the State Government employees are going to change, some shrewd bureaucrats are making crores of rupees by activating the DPC and by transferring method,” BMS said in a handout issued today.
The BMS said that even pre mature transfers are being made and lakhs of rupees are being exchanged hands. “Touts are working throughout the day and night and it is a time to set score for those who did not toe the line of their higher-ups all the transfers,” the statement said and demanded investigation into transfers and DPCs conducted in last two months.
The Mazdoor Sangh also urged the Governor and Chief Secretary to take note of this mal practice and ban all types of transfers taken place within last two months till the new regime starts working.
