UDHAMPUR, Oct 28: A motorcyclist and his two pillion riders among five persons were injured in separate road accidents across Udhampur, here today.
According to the reports, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AT-1051, collided with an Auto rickshaw JK14F-4112 near State Bank Dhar Road Udhampur. Locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu. The injured were identified as Shruti (16), daughter of Rattan Lal of Barian, Tanisha (16), daughter of Sanjeev Sharma, residing near Raj Theater and Vicky (24), son of Omkar Singh of Barian.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian namely Aarti Devi (33), wife of Tara Chand of Dandyal, was hit by a motorcycle near CEO Office Udhampur. Locals shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur and her condition was stated to be stable.
Another pedestrian namely Kiran Devi (36), wife of Ganesh Dutt of Rattian, also sustained injuries after being hit by an Alto car near DPS.
