KISHTWAR, Oct 28: A house got damaged in fire in Sarthal area last night.
As per police sources, fire broke out in the triple storey residential house of Basant Ram, son of Gusaon Ram at Sarthal last night.
On seeing the flames billowing out of the house, the locals rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the flames with available resources.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Though the fire tenders were rushed from Kishtwar District Headquarter but till then the third floor of the house was fully gutted while second floor suffered partial damages.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Kishtwar police has taken cognizance in this regard.
