SKS optimistic of dignified return of Pandits under new dispensation

NEW DELHI, Oct 29: Sampooran Kashmiri Sangathan (SKS) in its Core Committee meeting here today held under the chairmanship of Anoop Kaul has expressed the hope that Jammu and Kashmir under new arrangement of Union Territory and under the stewardship of newly appointed Lt Governor, Girish Chander Murma will usher in an era of peace and development.
The SKS made an appeal to newly appointed LG of the UT to take effective steps in restoration of peace in the J&K and return and rehabilitation of exiled Pandits to their homeland in Kashmir. The meeting said the restoring of peace is imperative in Valley so that the development process can be initiated there.
Addressing the meeting general secretary, SKS, Bharat Kachroo and its president Rakesh Koul has offered full cooperation and support to new dispensation in Jammu and Kashmir for restoration of peace and appealed the new LG to take effective steps for the dignified and honourable return of displaced Pandits to Valley who are living as refugees in their own country for last 30 years.
The meeting said the grievances of the exiled people will be now redressed by LG . Others who attended the meeting included Vir Ji Dullu, Dilbagh Sopori, Aditya Tickoo, Ratan Lal Koul, Ruskin Bhat and Navin Bhushan etc.
