Shiv Sena demands Rs 25 lakh as ex-gratia to martyred driver’s kin

JAMMU, Oct 29: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, State president, Manish Sahni along with other senior leaders of the party today visited the house of truck driver who was shot dead by militants in South Kashmir yesterday and demanded a compensation of Rs 25 lakh and a Government job to the family of truck driver Narayan Dutt.
The Shiv Sena leaders under the leadership of party president, Manish Sahni expressed grief and shock over the attack on truck driver and declared him a martyr. Sahni assured family members of all possible help in this hour of grief. He said that Narayan has four children who have become orphan. Narayan Dutt’s wife died a few years ago and yesterday the terrorists killed him also, he added.
Sahni appealed to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to help this poor family general secretary SS, Vikas Bakshi, senior vice president, Surjit Singh, secretary, Raj Singh, joint secretary, Raju Salaria, Mangu Ram and Bhuri Singh were among other Sena leaders who visited the house of a martyred driver.
