JAMMU, Oct 30: Two men were found hanging today in their respective residences in city outskirts.
“One Simmu (30), son of Kaku Ram, resident of Gho Manhasan was found hanging this morning with a ceiling fan at his residence,” a police official said, adding, the deceased used to run a Tent House business.
He said the body of the deceased was handed over to his family members after postmortem conducted at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPc was initiated in this connection by Pounichak police.
Meanwhile, another man namely Anil Kumar (34) son of Des Raj, resident of Keran, was found hanging this afternoon at his residence. The deceased was an auto driver by profession. “We have initiated inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC and sent the body for postmortem,” a police official from police post Chinore said. He added that no suicide note was recovered from the crime spot.
