Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Nov 1: Nagrota police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 17 cattle and arrested 2 persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Nagrota laid a naka at Ban Toll Plaza and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK02AT-5725.
During checking, police team rescued 17 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who were identified as Gurdyal Singh, son of Ranjeet Singh of Simbal Camp Jammu and Mohammad Aslam, son of Dullah of Talwara, District Reasi.
A case under FIR Number 411/19 under section 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Mohammad Shokat made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma.
