JAMMU, Mar 15: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today paid tributes to Kanshi Ram, founder, BSP on his 80th birth anniversary in a function held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, Digiana.
On the occasion, Tulsi Dass Langeh, State president was the chief guest, while Ayodhia Kumar Manawa and Rattan Kumar Bhagat were the guest of honours. Rattan Lal Chargotra, State vice president, presided over the function.
The speakers in their speeches termed Kanshi Ram as a great saint, who sacrificed his life for the cause of the drown trodden masses.
They said that Kanshi Ram played a big role in changing political scenario by giving equal representation to each and every section of the society.
Tulsi Dass Langeh in his speech appealed to the gathering for strengthening the party at grass root level and also asked them to follow the footprints of Kanshi Ram.
Among others present were Yashpal Bhagat, Badri Nath, Tilak Raj, Ravinder Singh Papu, Bharat Bhushan, Dr Harjeet, Bansi Lal Chowdhary, RK Bhagat, Dalvir Singh, Manoj Kumar, Raja Singh, Pawan Gupta, etc.
