Regular sugar supply, enhancement in cash relief demanded

JAMMU, Nov 4: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held under the chairmanship of its President Shadi Lal Pandita.
The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members of the JTC and SKF.
During the meeting, the participants have expressed their grave concern and anguish for stopping sugar supplies to the relief holder migrants from past few months.
Pandita while speaking said that Government had been kind enough to sanction cash assistance relief to the migrants under relief category and ration facilities including 1 kg sugar per family.
He said that the Relief holder migrants were availing the facilities of ration supplies with 1 kg sugar regularly but for past few months the sugar supply has been stopped without assigning any reason.
Pandita has demanded that Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu should intervene for ensuring regular sugar supplies to the relief holder migrants at an earliest.
Pandita has reiterated his demand of enhancing relief assistance to the tune of Rs 25000 per family per month against Rs 13000 per family per month.
Among others present were PL Pandita, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, Kashi Nath Bhat, Mithai Pandita, Raj Kumar Bhat and Hari Krishan Pandita.
