JAMMU, Nov 5: Chinore police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Chinore Police Post led by SI Deepak Bharti laid a naka near Thathar and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 2 grams heroin from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohit Kumar, son of Joginder Lal of Tehsil Bhalwal, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 8/21/22/27-A IPC has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
