SAMBA, Nov 5: Bari Brahmana Police arrested five gamblers along with Rs 4,200 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bari Brahmana Police Station led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia conducted raid in Telli Basti area and arrested 5 gamblers alongwith stake money of Rs 4200 and playing cards.
The arrested gamblers have been identified as Ajay Kumar, son of Sham Lal, Surinder Kumar, son of Anand Ram, Swarn Kumar, son of Bhoj Ram, Puran Lal, son of Prem Lal and Danshei Keshav, son of Brij Nath, all residents of Chhattisgarh, at present Telli Basti, Bari Brahmana.
All the gamblers were booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act at by Bari Brahmana Police.
