Two unidentified male bodies recovered

JAMMU, Nov 8: Two unidentified male dead bodies were recovered today from two separate areas in outskirts of Jammu.
“The dead body of an unknown man of age about 40-45 years was recovered this afternoon from a mini-canal (sua) behind petrol pump in Machine Domana area,” a police official said, adding some locals had seen the deceased man roaming in the area in the morning but nobody knows what happened with him later.
He said the body was shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for identification/postmortem and inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC initiated in this connection at police station Domana.
The official said an unidentified male dead body was also recovered from Railway Road, Channi, lying near Loachan Nursing Home. He said the deceased is about 30-35 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and is wearing a white & blue coloured lining T-shirt and a light brown coloured trouser.
“The body has been shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for identification/ postmortem and inquest proceeding initiated in this connection at police station Bahu Fort,” he said, adding any information regarding identity and residential particulars of the deceased may be communicated at police station Bahu Fort.
