Social, political organizations express satisfaction over SC verdict on Ayodhya

JAMMU, Nov 9: Various social and political organizations while welcoming the Supreme Court (SC) verdict on disputed structure at Ayodhya have termed it a revolutionary decision given by five judge Constitutional Bench of the Apex Court today.
Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh while commenting on the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya issue in a tweet said the 9th of November 2019 will go down in the history as a day when the world witnessed the supremacy of Indian Constitution and the inherent resilience of Indian democracy stood the test of times.
Welcoming the verdict VHP national working president Ashok Kumar said with this decision the truth has at last prevailed. In a statement issued from Delhi today, he said it was a long pending issue which was finally settled by Apex Court. He said it is no body’s defeat or victory but the victory of Indian nation as a whole. It is the victory of people of India irrespective of their religion.
Ashok Kumar appealed the people that they should not hurt sentiments of any body but maintain peace and brotherhood for which Hindu Samaj is known for all over the world.
Welcoming the Supreme Court decision, State president of VHP, Advocate Leela Karan Sharma said that ultimately truth has prevailed. Talking to reporters here, today soon after the SC verdict on Ayodhya dispute, along with VHP vice president, Shakti Dutt Sharma, secretary Abhisheikh Gupta, Bajrang Dal Prant Sayojak, Naveen Sudan, Seh Sayaojak Kartik Sudan and other leaders, he said SC upheld that on the disputed site a Ram temple existed and the disputed site be handed over to Central Government for constitution of a Trust for construction of Ram temple there.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has also welcomed the unanimous decision of five Judge bench of SC on Ayodhya. In a statement issued here ABVP said that Ramjanambhoomi was the most awaited and most important case and today’s verdict has put an end to centuries old deadlock. National general secretary, ABVP, Ashish Chauhan termed it a historic verdict and said every citizen of India including Hindus and Muslims should welcome it.
Kashmiri Pandit Sabha (KPS), while welcoming the historic decision of the Supreme Court in resolving the centuries old Ayodhya dispute by clearing the decks for construction of grand temple at the place where the Lord Rama was born, said the unanimous verdict after a long and protracted litigation will help to create a conducive environment and every citizen of the country should welcome it.
The Sabha president, K K Khosa has appealed the political leadership across parties to extend their full support to every possible manner to ensure the speedy construction of the temple.
Social activist Tarun Uppal while expressing his utmost satisfaction over the verdict of SC Constitutional Bench on Ayodhya dispute termed it a historic judgment and said the people should follow the legacy of Lord Rama by spreading the message of love.
In a statement issued here, he said Apex Court through this verdict has increased the prestige of the country’s judicial system across the globe. “We countrymen should also follow the legacy of Lord Rama by spreading the message of mutual love and create an environment of enhance honour of the country in the world”, he added.
Uppal said that every one should respect the law and no celebrations should be held which would hurt the sentiments of any one.
Former Minister and senior leader, Thakur Randhir Singh who is also national founder president of Aromatic Plants Growers Association has also welcomed the SC’s landmark verdict on Ayodhya land dispute case pending for last 70 years.
In a statement issued here, he said the Court has done justice to both the communities and the historic verdict must be welcomed by all sections of the society.
National Democratic Party of India (NDPI) president, Rajesh Gupta while respecting the SC decision on Ayodhya dispute favouring the construction of Ram Temple at disputed site, said the balance decision of the Apex Court will also strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood.
President Jammu West Assembly Movement Sunil Dimple while welcoming the SC verdict on Ayodhya dispute termed the judgment historic which he said will strengthen the bonds of secularism in the country further. He also appealed the people of Jammu and Kashmir to maintain peace and brotherhood and not to get misled by any provocation.
All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) president Desh Rattan termed the decision as historic and revolutionary. He made an appeal to people to maintain peace and brotherhood as the decision is victory of Indian democracy.
Bharatiya Janata Party has welcomed the revolutionary decision of the learned five-judge constitutional bench headed by the Chief Justice of India bringing to end almost five century old dispute and nearly a century old legal suit.
The decision of the learned bench has ensured that “Bharatiyata” (Indianism) continues to be supreme in India which promotes the concept of “Sarv Dharma Sama Bhava embodying the equality of all the Dharmas (religions) and believing them to be equal to or harmonious to each other.”Sarv Dharma Sama Bhava teaches all citizens to become good human beings first and then think of being a Hindu or Muslim. All religions are the same,” said Brig Gupta, State spokesperson BJP.
