Free eye check up camp concludes

SAMBA, Nov 9: A free eye check up camp was concluded today at Government District Hospital Samba.
The free eye camp was organized by Lions Club Samba today. During the camp, about 200 patients were checked up by a team of doctors led by eye specialists, Dr. Parmila Kumari and Dr Suresh Sharma. Twenty patients were identified for the eye operation.
Free medicines, free specs and many other facilities were provided free of cost to the patients. During the camp 12 patients were operated by the team of doctors and other eight was under observation due to the Hypertension, Diabetes and other diseases.
While addressing with media the president of Lions Club Samba, Pawan Verma said that 20 patients were selected for operates but 12 people were operate during the camp and another eight were not operated in this camp due to the health problems. The pending ten patients operate will be soon.
Others who were present there are Inderjeet Singh, Adv. Vijay Gupta, Mandeep Sambyal, Rakesh Singh, Naresh Chandel and Prince Anand many other members were present there.
