JAMMU, Nov 9: The Dulhasti Power Station celebrated 45th NHPC Raising Day with fervor and enthusiasm.
Yoginder Kotha, General Manager In-charge, of Dulhasti Power Station, Kishtwar inaugurated the programme in a traditional way by lighting the ceremonial lamp in presence of Suresh Kumar, General Manager (Electrical), Dr. Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services), Commandant CISF, Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya and other senior officers, and NHPC employees.
Speaking on this occasion, General Manager In-Charge highlighted the achievements of NHPC since its inception. He stressed upon various activities undertaken by Dulhasti Power Station under CSR & SD Scheme for the development of Kishwar.
Stalls of various cuisines were also set up by NHPC personnel, Ladies Club, CISF personnel and locals vendors at the ceremony.
Later on, the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya and staffs of NHPC, Kendriya Vidyalaya & CISF presented well composed cultural programme which was applauded by the audience.
During the celebrations, competitions like Tug of War, Hit the Matka, Spoon Race and Musical Chair were organized.
The General Manager In-charge, DPS distributed prizes to the participants of cultural programmes and winners of different sports events organized on the occasion.
Retired employees of Dulhasti Power Station were specially invited.
