JAMMU, Nov 9: Booth presidents of district Akhnoor have expressed their dismay the way the party held election of Mandal presidents in district and termed them unconstitutional.
In a signed statement scores of partymen termed the organizational elections were not conducted in a democratic manner and have made an appeal to party president, Ravinder Raina and State general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul to hold fresh elections for Mandal presidents in the district in a constitutional way failing which they warned enmass resignation from the party.
However when contacted party Prabhari Munish Sharma said that he has no reports about the same as no body contacted him in this regard. He said BJP is a disciplined party where elections are held in a free and transparent manner. He said before moving to press the people having any grievance should have contacted to him.
