JAMMU, Mar 16: TRT Nagrota Migrants Development Committee in a meeting today held under the chairmanship of P L Dhar in an appeal to the Government has demanded replacement of the damaged transformer in the camp at an earliest which was feeding 64 Migrant families.
In a statement issued here today he said that the old age people and the school going children whose exams are drawing near are facing problems.
However, the meeting denied that there was power failure in the camp during Maha Shivrarti as reported in a section of press. It said there was uninterrupted power supply on the occasion of Shivratri and the transformer developed a snag on March 12 and since then it was not replaced.
