JAMMU, Mar 16: Arakshan Virodhi Manch (AVM) and India Against Reservation (IAR) condemned all types of reservation and demanded special incentives to the poor irrespective of caste, creed and colour.
Addressing a press conference, Yash Paul Sharma, spokesperson, AVM condemned the extension of the political reservation to people on the basis of caste.
He said that this step of the Government is against the Fundamental Right of people, who are residing in the reserved constituencies and are debarred from contesting elections.
Sharma demanded abolishing of all kind of reservations and protection of the people’s rights irrespective of their caste, creed and colour.
Among others present were Rampaul Seth, convener, AVM and Sat Paul Sharma from IAR.
