SRINAGAR, Mar 16: Two persons died while as five others were injured in a road accident at Awantipora on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway this morning.
Reports said that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/5813 on way from Jammu to Srinagar had an accident near Gurudwara, Awantipora, with an unknown vehicle, resulting in on spot death of Mohammad Sultan Mir, son of Mohammad Gulzar Mir resident of Batpora-Kralpora, Kupwara and Mohammad Khalil Mir, son of Mehda Mir resident of Rawatpora- Kupwara and injuries to five other persons. Police has registered a case in this regard.
